Q	How does the system work?
A	The Jackson Mosquito Control System utilizes a 55 - gallon reservoir, control unit, and pump system. It is virtually maintenance free. A fully automated timer combines reliability with ease of use. You simply set the timer, and at the designated time a light mist is released into the air, eliminating bothersome mosquitoes and other biting insects. A remote control is also included for mistings in between set times.
Q	What is pyrethrum?
A	Pyrethrum is a natural insecticide extracted from the chrysanthemum plant. Its molecules are very complex and insect resistance is practically nonexistent. Click here for more information about pyrethrum.
Q	Do I have to turn the system off and on?
A	No, the system has a timer unit built in. Our technician will set the timer to turn the system on and off with the frequency that is needed for your yard and the area you live in. If you would like the system to spray an additional time prior to a party, for instance, an included remote control can be used.
Q	How often do I use the system?
A	Usually the system will be set to go off two times a day for 45 seconds, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Occasionally a system may be set to go off more often, for instance if you live near a creek or other place that may be more populated by mosquitoes.
Q	Which bugs does the system kill?
A	Almost all of them. From mosquitoes to flies, to ants and roaches. The system even kills fleas, ticks and spiders.
Q	Does the system require maintenance?
A	The Mosquito Control System is nearly maintenance free, although occasionally a nozzle may get clogged or a rodent may eat through one of the lines. Jacksons offers maintenance plans to suit your budget so that you will be hands off and worry free.
